Cottonwood Balm

Cottonwood Balm is created with wild crafted Cottonwood Buds. Collected only in the late winter to early spring, we hand collect the buds for their amazing resin. If you've ever driven through countrysides that grow cottonwood, their sweet scent in the late spring air is unforgettable, followed by their release of cotton in the summer creating a dreamy vision of floating cotton in the air.

Cottonwood resin was traditionally used by Native Americans for addressing pain, inflammation, and healing wounds. The resin contains salicylic acid which has been proven to reduce inflammation and fevers, and soothe sore muscles and joints. Cottonwood resin is also high in antioxidants which makes it wonderful for healing and allows us to not have to use preservatives in our balms or infused oil. We use olive oil to extract the resin from the buds. Available in 1 oz tin or 4 oz blue glass jar.

Cottonwood Infused Oil

Our cottonwood oil is infused in olive oil and can be used to create your own balms and lotions or used as is.

Magnesium Butter

Magnesium chloride has been found to be very beneficial when applied as a topical agent to support a wide range of issues from immune, muscle and nerve support to anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Unlike the current form of 'magnesium oil' which is simply a solution of magnesium and water, magnesium body butter is a rich, emollient cream made of shea butter, coconut oil, and essential oils of peppermint and oregano. The texture of magnesium body butter applies with a mild exfoliant action that melts into a creamy butter leaving your skin super soft! Available in 4 or 9 oz blue glass jar.

Calendula Infused Oil

The vibrant oranges and yellows of calendula flowers are equally matched by their intense, sticky healing resins. I hand pick every single flower that is used in our infused oil from plants that have reseeded themselves and are never exposed to chemicals as they grow freely with our vegetables and herbs for consumption. Gently air dried then allowed 4 weeks to meld and infuse with olive oil produces a beautifully vibrant oil that can be used on skin needing an extra boost in healing. So strong is calendula's skin healing capabilities that it's advised to not use on fresh open wounds until it's been properly cleansed as the skin may heal closed too fast, trapping bacteria inside. Calendula's most common uses are as an anti-inflammatory for inflamed tissues such as varicose veins, rashes, and bug bites. Calendula also is supportive in other skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, athlete's foot, and diaper rashes.

Frankincense Infused Oil

By far, one of the oils we're most proud of. We source wild-harvested Frankincense from Oman, Boswellia Sacra, and slow heat infuse the raw resin into olive oil. The end result is an amazingly fragrant, thick oil that retains all of Frankincense's legendary healing constituents. Processing the resin in this way is different from essential oil in that we don't lose the boswellic acid that doesn't transfer over with steam distillation into essential oil. The EO is still wonderful in it's own rights when used for grounding and meditation, also providing a perfect base note for many aromatic blends, but the EO does not contain boswellic acid. Common uses of Frankincense has been as an anti-inflammatory, cancer support, respiratory support, and spiritual practices.

Helichrysum Infused Oil

Traditionally a plant grown in the Mediterranean, I've managed to grow and maintain a true helichrysum italicum in the NW. The essential oil derived from Helichrysum has a sought after healing agent with reputable ability to heal skin ailments. Unfortunately, the amount of flowers needed to make even a small amount of essential oil is great and renders this oil very costly limiting its ability to reach many people. Our oil is created from hand-harvesting the flowers then infusing them for 4 weeks in olive oil. The resulting oil created is a beautiful golden color and has an amazing fragrance. This oil can be used exactly like the essential oil, requires no diluting, and is affordable without adding harmful processing chemicals or over harvesting the plant.

Labdanum Infused Oil

The first time I smelled labdanum my soul was instantly transported to a magical place. Though I couldn't quite put my finger on it, I knew this scent. It was the first essential oil I truly fell in love with. I put it in every blend I could, and spent much time trying to figure out new ways to put it all over my body. It wasn't long after my discovery that the perfume industry also latched on to it (it was apparently labdanum's time to shine). This drove up the cost and demand to an outrageous price that I couldn't justify charging my clients, nor did I want to be held hostage by the fashion industry, denied the scent that was so moving to me. So I found the raw resin and tried making it myself. I was exponentially more pleased with what I had made then what I had previously purchased! It is with great honor that I provide others the opportunity to purchase this oil. This is infused in olive oil, is quite thick so can be blended in to other oils or lotions. It is a resin so it's thick and sticky, but far more workable than the resin 'essential oils' that I've worked with. My preference is to mix it with a little carrier and use as a body oil.

Raw Cacao Mask

I'm a supporter of anything chocolate and delight in finding ways to integrate chocolate into ordinary everyday beauty routines. Our chocolate coffee mask is a heavenly aromatic blend of organic raw cocao powder, organic coconut oil, oats, and Geranium essential oil. These ingredients work synergistically providing purifying, detoxing drawing powers while simultaneously delivering antioxidants, exfoliating, and nourishing skin. I've used it for face, legs, hips, feet, elbows, and even in my hair! Your skin will be left beautifully clean and soft. No chemicals or preservatives.
